Asda Nappies – A Review!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Most of the time I buy supermarket nappies. I buy them for one plain reason and that’s because they’re cheaper. The thing I have realised and what makes it a bonus, is that having tried all the different brands on the market at varying times too, they either do the job just as well or sometimes, even better!

My supermarket brand of choice for nappies would have to be Asda. Do I write a lot of reviews for Asda? Yes I do. Do I feel obliged to say their stuff is better than anyone elses? Absolutely not. I genuinely (and know a big chunk of my Mum friends would say exactly the same) think the Little Angels nappies are a cut above the other supermarket offerings.

Little Angels Comfort Dry Nappies!

I’ve been trialling their Little Angels Comfort Dry nappies this past week and as always I’m pleased with the results. They’re really thin to feel which means Jimmy doesn’t look bulked out around his bottom under his clothes, yet they keep him super dry. I don’t change Jimmy’s nappy over night if he’s just wet so he will very often go 12 hours with just the one nappy. I honestly can tell you this never bothers him as he never feels the wet on his skin. Sometimes the nappy can be really heavy in the morning but to touch, the inside feels slightly damp at most and it’s never enough to give him a nappy rash which he only ever gets when teething. Florence was the same when she used to wear this brand.

The nappies are thin to feel, yet very absorbent and attractive too!

Because you use fewer nappies it obviously costs less and is better for the environment. I am SO not a re-usable nappy person so this is a great compromise. Obviously I change Jimmy far more often in the day time but if I go to change him and the nappy feels completely dry, which it often does, then they’re really easy to re-seal again.

They’re stretchy round the legs and the material is soft. They’re also a great buy! Usually, for a pack of 56 size 3 nappies like the ones I use at the moment, they are £5.97 meaning each nappy costs 10.7 pence – a bargain compared to most. At the moment they are on offer with two packs for £10! This makes each nappy a rather affordable just under 9 pence each! Brilliant!

The nappies have soft stretchy legs and a soft inside too!

Great for wearing all day due to them being so slim but also fab for over night because they’re super absorbent. They’re definitely my favourite brand right now!

Jimmy is certainly comfy wearing Little Angels!

I was not paid to write this postbut I was sent some nappies for the purpose of review.

  1. When DD was born, we were reliant on Pampers. Once these started to leak, I ventured on to Little Angels and they were just fab (we also saved a lot of money)! I cringe on how much we wasted on Pampers. I wish we’d found these earlier. Will defiantly be using these with DS when he is born this month.
