Light me up Pabobo!

Askamum love my blog, ooo-errr how exciting!

Touch wood Florence has been staying most of the night in her own room. I’m sure the fact that it’s very dark outside is a major contributor as she is getting up later and later; when the sun was rising early she was up with the lark! So it helps her stay in bed by being darker outside but at the same time, like lots of children, she doesn’t want it pitch black in the middle of the night when she wakes up as it could make her feel frightened. She also wakes for a drink and if she can’t see her night stand and where her drink is then that’s just another reason to get up out of bed or worse still, call me to get out of bed and come and help her! A few different things have helped her but a night-light is one of the things that has helped most. The Pabobo Night-Light is the one we’ve been trying with results which are undeniable. Basically this is a night-light which plugs into a socket on the wall, looks like a blue egg and at night glows gently. It also has a very sensitive sensor on it so as soon as it is day light the glow will fade off and if it gets dark again, on it will come. Its low energy LED’s mean it can be left on all night with no worry about how much electricity it’s using as it is super energy-efficient while it also won’t get hot to touch no matter how long it’s left on for.

Great little night-light which gives Florence just that little bit of comfort she obviously needs and also gives enough glow so that I can easily pop in and out and be able to see her make sure she’s ok. The other design plusses are that it’s small enough to take away with you and it doesn’t have inviting on and off buttons for Florence to play around with as she does the lamp on her night stand. We have it in blue but it comes in pink also. What a jolly good idea!
