Christmas With Asda!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

I wrote lots about Christmas with Asda last year because I was super impressed with their Extra Special range which is created with the Leiths School of cookery. The Christmas nibbles in particular were absolutely delicious and I have continued to buy from the range throughout the year.

I haven’t written much this year as I have been busy with other projects but I think I may have overlooked what Asda have to offer! I DID write about their fantastic wine range a few weeks ago where I discovered the most delicious champagne on an amazing offer and a fab bottle of desert wine which would suit my Mum down to the ground but having looked a little closer at their other ranges I see that they also have some fun and festive treats on the other shelves too!

Festive sweets and treats!

Take these festive sweets and treats for example! Mince pies of course are a staple and these from the Chosen By You range are crumbly and moreish without being too sweet! The jars of sweets are super cute and would be ace for a children’s party and the Christmas Pudding Fudge would be excellent for a stocking filler for my Mum! I’m also rather keen on the small star shaped waffles which would make an interesting and festive breakfast for the little ones while the bag of chocolate satsumas is a brilliant alternative to coins!

Christmas gifts, decorations and fun!

It’s not just food at Asda of course and with a wide variety of gifts, decorations and entertaining products it could easily be a ones top shop! I always have hearts hanging in my kitchen on the cupboard doors and for Christmas I have added these decoupage baubles from Asda! My Mum will really enjoy playing this trivia card game and Florence is very keen on fizzy bath products so she’ll love this 4 pack! Everything is affordable yet looks expensive! Typical Asda!

Enjoying a waffley star shaped breakfast!

The children certainly enjoyed eating their star waffles this week and Daddy thought the satsuma bag of chocolates (instead of a bag of chocolate coins) was fabby! I was going to save them for Christmas but Daddy and his chocolate nose sniffed them out and they didn’t last long at all!

Excellent quality and value as always Asda! I simply HAVE to have a look at the Extra Special range of party nibbles! I loved them last year but as I couldn’t make the Christmas preview show this summer I haven’t been introduced yet, I think that might be about to change!

I was sent some of the Asda Christmas products for the purpose of an honest review.
