The Baby Show For Mothercare!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

I’ve been to The Baby Show a number of times now and in a number of capacities. I’ve been as a customer (well I’m always that but I mean JUST as a customer), as a VIP Baby Show Blogger, a case study with the Red Cross for the main stage and with various different companies as something to do with my blog.

The children always have fun when we go, they love playing in the creche and seeing all that’s on offer. Florence is a real little consumer and Jimmy just likes all the people smiling at him and complimenting him on his cheeky smile.

It’s an exhausting day but in a good way, full of really helpful information and with massive discounts on all things baby. I really do enjoy the it and look on it as a proper day out! There was a point when it kind of lost its edge for me for a bit but then the last time I went it was absolutely back to its best and one thing’s always sure, the Mothercare stand is HUGE and full of amazing deals!

When my sister in law was pregnant I went to my first ever Baby Show and I convinced her to buy her Bugaboo Cameleon from Mothercare at the show. She got an absolutely MEGA deal on it. I think anyone who reads my blog will know I’m a BIG fan of the store that’s been going since before I was even born but why should you visit Mothercare at the next show? I’ll tell you why!

The Baby Show Excel 21st-23rd February 2014

With 20,000-25,000 visitors passing through the doors at each of The Baby show events, it is the nations biggest parenting and pregnancy event series.

  • Mothercare will be on stand A1, with 50 of their most dedicated store and head office staff manning the stand at any one time, ensuring plenty of specialists all in one place to answer an array of parenting questions and to provide a bra fitting and measuring service and car seat fitting demonstrations.
  • At this Baby Show Mothercare will be launching a new initiative, MyMothercare, a rewards club giving exclusive vouchers, 20% off toys on your child’s next birthday, tips and inspiration for every step of your child’s development and sneak previews of the sales.
  • Another new initiative Mothercare have just launched and will be available to talk about with parents is the new Mothercare payment plan. Information can be found on the website here
  • On Friday 21st at 3pm there will be a Carseat Q&A on the main stage with carseat supplier Dorel and Mothercare carseat specialist Gaynor Potts
  • Each day of The Baby Show Mothercare will be giving away one Xpedior pushchair to a lucky winner, parents to visit the stand to enter.
  • Throughout the 3 day show Mothercare will be on the main stage showcasing its newest clothing collections from Blooming Marvellous maternity, Little Bird, Baby K and Mothercare childrenswear, also featuring new items from Clarks Spring handbags and women’s shoes range.

If you didn’t know already, we’re massive fans of the Jools Oliver designed Little Bird range… I think these pictures show why!

  • Mothercare will also be featuring a selection of Early Learning Centre toys on their stand and the Happyland Fairy Godmother will be flying around spreading a little Happyland joy! (LOVE that and hope we get to see her when we’re there!)
  • Mothercare will be offering a 10% discount on everything, including existing offers!

So, there’s no better time to visit Mothercare than at The Baby Show and in my personal opinion, the London show at Excel is the best venue! We’ll be there on the Friday, will we see you?

I will be attending the show as a guest of Mothercare but all opinions are entirely my own.
