A Morrisons Summer!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Yesterday I was treated to a sneak peak of the Morrisons summer range… BBQ food and summer delights, sunshine clothes, pincic ware, garden toys, wine and much more…

It was all utterly, utterly delicious and with beautiful colours and fresh tastes, smells and looks to everything i think we’re set for a summer of fun and smiles with a hint of glamour on the side!

First stop wine… Well, you have to start somewhere don’t you? I never know where to start or even quite what I like? I buy on impulse, by bottle label and price with just a smidgen of knowing that I don’t really like dry wines… I’d say this method is very hit and miss! Morrisons say they have the answer and you can take a taste test on line to find your perfect wine number! All their wine has a number on the back and with over a hundred to choose from with each one you will always have plenty of choice! So find your number and you don’t need to do any more research than that, if you buy a bottle for you then you should like it… I tried it out yesterday and loved the wine I tried! Take the three question taste test here!

Moving on and it’s all about the picnics! Because I’m organising a Teddy Bear’s picnic for Jimmy’s birthday I am very interested in all things picnic! The Morrisons range is glamorous and bright with lots of matching accessories! I LOVE the sparkly candle holders which would be perfect for a romantic picnic on the lawn at dusk on a beautifully warm summer’s evening!

That leads me to the food which was awesome! From the BBQ range and pulled pork (delicious) to the tapas and sweet treats it was super good and no wonder! Executive Chef Neil Nugent knows his stuff and even from the very basic ready made spices he has put his professional touch to it all!

I was impressed with lots of the range but something which I particularly liked was the children’s fashion of course, you know me! This is really very good, especially boys and I love it when I can say that because it just doesn’t happen all the time! What’s more, the price point is extremely inclusive!

So… I think I’ll be back to Morrisons! If for nothing else (and obviously there will be lots of something else) I need to get Jimmy that faded Hawaiian shirt!

I was invited to view the Morissons spring/summer range.
