When I left my dreaded admin job to have Florence, my colleagues bought me the most terrific outfit for her. It came from a shop called Polarn O Pyret, I hadn’t heard of them before but I have since bought many outfits from there. This first outfit we had is my favourite outfit of all time ever, a lovely little brown wrap over body suit with long sleeves and white rabbits jumping all over it. To go with it they bought me brown stripy socks from the same shop… Florence wore it ALL the time with denim dungarees or a denim dress over the top and even though it was advised for ages 2-4 months, it lasted (just as I have found all Polarn O Pyret clothes) much, much longer than expected… It just seemed to fit her for ages, looked fine when a little big and when a little tight it was stretchy enough to not be uncomfortable. She wore it from around 4 months until she was well over 1 year old!

I washed it and washed it and washed it! Every stain always came out, the colour never faded and it never looked old! Now Jimmy wears it, has done for a few months actually and he’s got a few more to go while it fits I’d say!

I adore this outfit and I will keep it just in case we have any more children! It will definitely last, it still looks good as new! I particularly like the socks because they stay on – not a trait of most baby socks I have to say!
I know Polarn O Pyret clothes are a touch more costly than others but they honestly, in my experience, have been such good quality that they always look new and they have some sort of secret power which makes them last well beyond the age mark? Lots of their clothes have roll down cuffs which means you can then make them last even longer! Jimmy’s 11 months old now and he’s still wearing a blue striped outfit which is, like the brown body suit, meant to be for ages 2-4 months!!
Jimmy in another fave of mine, also Polarn O Pyret, also aged 2-4 months! He’s worn it since he was 4 months old, it was a hand me down from a friend and it still looks brilliant now. I have only just turned down the cuffs to make it last a bit longer! Check out the cute matching moccasin boots!
I have lots of Polarn O Pyret clothes for the children and I haven never felt like I haven’t got what I paid for! They do fab colours, like the brown body suit, which are often unisex too so lots of the things I had for Florence I can use again with Jimmy! Brilliant!
