Casdon Woodplay Castle Boxset

Jimmy was sent a little wooden castle playset to play with this week and because he’s literally not stopped playng with it ever since he got it out of the box I had to write about it straight away! We think it’s absolutely delightful!

The Castle Woodplay Boxset is made by Casdon and it is encouraging Jimmy to play small world games, make voices and act out stories with the little characters that come with it. It’s a small box (the size of a child’s shoe box) with everything inside to make the castle up including two knights and a Princess. It has a little handle so when you’ve finished playing you can pack it up and take it away with you and the best bit is that Jimmy can pack, un pack and put the castle up all on his own!

It’s been really lovely to listen to Jimmy as he plays and does voices for the knights and the Princess and I can see him playing with theis very often. It’s the sort of toy which is easy to store as it’s little but it still has a lot of wow factor. Wooden toys always look very special I think and this one is particularly lovely. The detail is brillaint even down to a little set of steps to go up to one of the floors and a garden on the inside of the wall that comes down as it opens up. Jimmy was also very impressed with the catapult!
