I don’t often wear bright colours preferring instead to slimline myself in black but sometimes, just occasionally I step out of my comfort zone, which I very definitely have done here, and go for a bold statement piece like this Bodycon Midi Dress from Femme Luxe. The Megan Bardot mini dress sits in my wardrobe for a doubtful day when I need to think yep, red it is (thank you Bill Blass) and I want to take a step on the wilder side of life! I think red might armour me with confidence and we all need a bit of that from time to time too!

Just got to pick myself a place to go and style it out now. I have teamed this new dress with an old brooch and some gold shoes, both which have lots of sparkle to offer some glam. Now… Where shall I wear this little number?! Rooftop drinks I think!

When I am in my more regular attire of black this does not mean to say life has to be any the less full of colour. Black is not to blend orr wall flower. I still wish to stand out and is my wont at the moment, a leather look will afford me this! I might be an all in black girl but hidden I do not tend to be so what do you think of my newest pair of trousers to the PVC fold? They are stretchy with an elasticated waistband so also have hidden comfort – great for a mum like me!

And then for those days when I don’t have to be anywhere at all… Grey does not mean dull!

I might like a dress up, who doesn’t? But I also rather still like my Grey Loungewear and being able to just chill out without having to worry about being anywhere at all. Love my Co Ord Sets though because they mean I can nip out and about, do the school run and other chores as well as being sofa ready for when I get home. Fashion plus comfies, yes please!

Yet again I find myself torn between getting my glam on and watching a Friend’s marathon. But we can absolutely be both can’t we. Party hard but rest harder that’s what I always think at any rate.
