Easter Holidays 2023!
I love the Easter holidays, a two week break like at Christmas with all the family time that brings but not requiring anywhere near the effort levels! The sun often shines on a day or two which is also very welcome and there’s a lot of chocolate – what’s not to love? For us we are very lucky as obviously Jonny is off at the same time as the children and Florence gets a week ahead off with an extra week off in total meaning she gets to rest before I whip everyone off for lots of days out and fun! This Easter I tried to tone it down a bit and allow for some down time too (as well as time to decorate the hall, stairs and landing) – it’s not something which comes easily to me but I know they need it before they head into the last term of the year and have tried to have a bit of everything, a mixture of days out and time doing not a lot. Family movies, beach days, baking, cooking, eating good food and Jonny and I have even managed a couple of special date nights, we left Posie over night for the first time and she actually slept all night. I was so worried about it and then it couldnt have gone better, phew! We’ve done lots, visited all our faves, made use of all our annula passes. Decorated, got other jobs done, and we had hair cuts just before back to school for the boys which aged them massively. It was a good Easter holiday! Here’s what we got up to over the break!
