I have wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer for the longest time but haven’t yet got around to buying one. I wasn’t sure if justifying the money could be done as they ARE rather pricey and until now I haven’t had a kitchen big enough to accommodate one .

I used to live in a tiny flat and my kitchen was so miniscule that one person on their own was in the way when using it (seriously) so I always just had a hand held mixer for cake baking. It was a cheapy from the supermarket and although it never really worked terribly well I thought it would do because it was small and compact. If I had known then what I know now, and that’s the fact that KitchenAid make a hand held compact mixer as well, then I’m sure I would have gone and bought one of them.

And I’d have been right to do so. AO.com, a firm pretty new to my radar but now well and truly on it, sent me the KitchenAid 5KHM9212BOB hand held food mixer in onyx black and asked me to make a video review for them. I am SO impressed! With everything actually. From price (man AO is good value) and delivery from AO.com to the actual product itself which has done nothing to sway me away from that brand I knew I wanted even before I’d used one. I LOVE the hand held mixer and it’s perfect for small spaces with a compact bag to look after the whisks and dough hooks and even though I have a big kitchen now and could easily afford the space for a big stand mixer, this will do me very nicely until I can afford the money to buy one – which, when its saved, will be another KitchenAid… This brand has won my heart on aestheitcs from a long time ago but now that I’ve used one I’ve fallen in love with it all over again!
