With spring comes a lot of new baby arrivals; lambs are bouncing in fields and chicks are chirping… And this year there’s a new baby on the block from spring to rival them all in cuteness! Lalaloopsy Babies have arrived and being Lalaloopsy fans in general we’re more than a little bit smitten!

We were sent Crumbs Sugar Cookie who is super sweet, she loves fresh cookies when it’s time to eat. She’s always happy and she’s never sad, and if you give her a treat she’ll be oh so glad. She is made from a bakers apron and her ‘sewn date’ stated on the box and on a hear on her bottom is 4th of December! It’s cute little details like this which Florence loves and I totally see why!

There are three other Lalaloopsy babies in the range each with a personality and details specific to them and just like all Lalaloopsy characters they are very different to other dolls on the market! The makers of the range say: ‘Lalaloopsy dolls were once just ordinary rag dolls that magically came to life when their very last stitch was sewn, taking on the personality of the fabrics used to make them. They live in a fantastical world full of silly surprises and each character was ‘sewn on’ a special date to reflect their personality.’

Forence loved hers immediately and has been playing with her ever since. Jimmy also took a bit of a shine and shouts LALALOOPSY when he sees her and tries to get hold of her so I think we can say she’s a hit!

Florence told me that she likes the fact the hat and nappy come off, she especially likes the dummy and bottle which can fit in her mouth and it’s good that the dummy is on a ribbon round her neck. She also said she would really like her to have some clothes and it would have been even better if the nappy fasteners came undone with Velcro rather than being pull on and off but don’t get me wrong, it didn’t at all detract from her enjoyment!
