If you follow me on Instagram then you will have seen my amazing rose gold bags from Mi-Pac about a million times. I got the swing bag back last summer and used it for everything, I get so many compliments about that bag and it’s one of my absolute favourites of all time ever. Then when I had Raffie I used the same colour and material in one of Mi-Pac’s weekender totes to pack all my bits to take to the hospital. I now use that one, which is HUGE, every single day as my changing bag. I’ve spent years searching for the perfect one of those and using many, many specially made for just that purpose bags but I’ve never found any to be as good as this one. Granted it doesn’t come with many compartments (as is best for a changing bag) or a bottle warmer or indeed with a changing mat but despite all of that, and essentially it just being a regular bag in essence, I would still say it’s the best changing bag I’ve ever had. I’ve compensated for a lack of compartments with some zip up wash bags (Mine aren’t from Mi-Pac but they do make smaller bags like their make-up cases which would be perfect) and bought a separate travel changing mat (which actually is WAY better than the rubbish ones which come in purpose made changing bags). And of course you can buy bottle warmers too so I’d totally vote one of the Mi-Pac weekenders instead of a purpose made changer. They’re brilliant!
The kids also love their Mi-Pac bags which they use for school and now, the lucky ducks have some new ones to use and with perfect timing just for Florence to go away on a school residential! The big back packs are the perfect size for her while Jimmy likes the smaller back packs and the new Mr Men Collection, which we went to the launch party for last week, are so bright and fun – we think they are totally brilliant! Florence can’t wait to pack up her Little Miss Sunshine bag for this trip of hers and Jimmy, who has a Mr Bump one and Raffie with his multi character bag, will get to use their soon for sure!
The party was ACE! We got to meet Adam Hargreaves, son of original author and illustrator Roger who drew us, as he has taken over from his Father, our own characters and told us a little bit about some new ones coming out. The Mr Men and Little Miss are lovely characters to have on the bags and let’s face it, they never go out of fashion!
We also saw some of our fave faces at the party which was ace but none more favourite than this little lot above! We got to see the Modern Mummy gang and introduce them to Raffie!
As we left the party the kids were asked to pick their favourite bag to take home. We may have then spent longer leaving the party than we spent at it… Who can blame a decision dilemma with a collection as good as this though eh?!
