More Is More With Photowall!

Have you ever thought about a wall mural for your home to change it up and make the aesthetic totally your own?!

Greys, beiges, neutrals! It’s all so 2020 don’t you think?! The plumping of velvet cushions you can barely see, because they blend into the sofa they’re sat on, which, in turn, blends into the wall so that you can only just about make out the window when the curtains are open. Once they close… It makes like a padded cell!

Ok, so it WAS once the thing, I agree, but let me assure you, it’s not anymore! In 2025 we’re all about the bold, the bright and the beautiful. However, making statements with our decor in a way which is neither obvious, nor miss-able, is a bit of a juxtaposition and yet THAT is exactly today’s aesthetic. But you’d have to be an interiors whizz to get that brief right, right?! Well, wouldn’t you?!

Perhaps not! You might be surprised to discover that with a little bit of help from the right sources, a prod in the right direction from those in the know even, and you too could be showing the world how brilliantly you fit the style brief when it comes to decorating the home – just keep it under your hat that you took all your inspo from Photowall, or EVERYONE will want to do it (oh go on then, we’ll let you share – but make sure you’re the one in your circle starting off the trend)! Whats more is that you can absolutely decorate like this on a budget!

More than pictures, better than wall paper, the statement piece of a wall mural is something your friends and family will be talking about long after they leave your home after a visit. YOU will become the focal piece of the conversation, right after you make your focal piece on the wall, on the tip of their tongues! And why not? It’s great to be the one everyone’s admiring (by proxy through your decorating choices) so whether you’re choosing a subtle cloud wall with pinks and peaches to decorate the nursery, or you’re going all out with a jungle themed wall for your little lovely, if you want to make the main room in your house stand out with a rural forest, floral wall of wonder, or make like wisteria blooming all around the room… You can with a mural wall, even if you’ve absolutely no artistic genes yourself!

You don’t PAINT a wall mural these days! No, no, no! You BUY a wall mural and then the neighbours curtains will be twitching before they rush out to do exactly the same (once they’ve see your iconic style status)!

A wall mural which requires no more skill than hanging wall paper can be hung in any room of your house. One in every room if you so wish and even bathrooms can be transformed with a view gifted to it, rather than the one out of the window! But we get it if you’re nervous to make the jump from plain to bold in one fell swoop so you might wish to start with something understated and not too “in your face” if you’re not feeling very daring but still want to make a decor difference. Gradients of colours on a mural wall can make for a really interesting effect, still with that bold statement being made and yet without a leap out of your comfort zone. I always like to begin small when it comes to designing the house on account of the fact I don’t think I have “the eye”! I see things in my head and then they never really come out like I’d envisaged, I’ve learned, but… I can assure you, when we decided to take a wall and make it as loud as possible, we actually ended up loving it. I think almost certainly because I trusted Photowall and not my own ideas. I can only imagine what it would have looked like if I’d tried to paint it myself – let’s just say I’m glad I looked to the experts!

Decorating your home is a pleasure and as it should be a true reflection of you, it has to be exactly as you like it! There’s no point in choosing your home features for someone else. So, do it for yourself, the most important person needs to be happy and that’s you!
