We love a baby product in this house, have you noticed? And one of the things we seem to review rather a lot of is cups and dining products! We literally have tried them all I think and although I’ve found some good ones, I think my favourite brand so far has got to be the Munchkin range. Every single cup, bowl or tub that we’ve used from them has been spot on so we were more than happy to try out their new range which incorporates all the Munchkin elements I like, such as the click lock spill proof lids on the cups, but introducing a new visual in the fact that this range is dedicated to Disney!
Florence has been a Disney fan ever since we went to Euro Disney when she was tiny and Minnie Mouse I would say is her favourite! The new Munchkin range has 4 sets with 4 different characters, Minnie Mouse (thankfully), Mickey Mouse, Winnie The Pooh and Monsters! Florence was thrilled to bits when she saw the Minnie Mouse collection we were sent and I was pleased that Jimmy was sent the Monsters set! I think they’re just a little bit quirkier and different to the other three!
So, aside from being enticing for the children in appearance, I have to say they are incredibly practical. I have fussy eaters and having separation trays within the plate is a brilliant idea. I have another plate for Florence with dividers like this but it has far too many compartments and not only does she like her food to be separated but she, like me, seems to need to put an item of food in each area. This can be quite tricky and I like the fact these plates have just three areas. One large one for the main part of the meal and two smaller ones for different accompaniments is plenty. To go with the plate is easy to use and hold cutlery that even Jimmy has been able to give a go and a bowl for desert. All wash very well and have pictures on the bottom which also can be incentives to finish what’s being eaten of course!
The cups I have written about before. These new Disney ones are just versions of the click lock variety that Munchkin do so well and we have reviewed in the past. The click lock flip straw cups are great, easy to use, non spill and these particular ones are slim enough for Jimmy to hold very easily although he’s too little to open and close them himself at the moment. All in all this range of cups is one of our absolute favourites and with the Disney characters only goes to make us like them that little bit more!
