Shimmer And Shine With Nick Jr

Yesterday we were invited to a celeb studded premiere in central London to mark the launch of new Nick Jr programme, Shimmer and Shine!

All about a little girl who has two genies to help her work out muddles and problems the show was screened to a select few and Florence and Jimmy thought it was amazing!

They got to enjoy a pre premiere party with genie type fancy dress (they loved that), magicians, dancing and lots of craft!

Together with the girls belonging to my pal Emily from FamilyFourFun, the children partied up a Sunday morning storm, ate yummy party food and enjoyed the screening tremendously!

Jimmy ate 7, yes SEVEN, chocolate croissants!

We took my Mum along for the ride, a retired teacher, and she said she thought the show had some really sweet educational benefits as well as being sparkly and fun and with an incredibly catchy theme tune!

It’s quite girlie although main character Zak plays a big role in the show and all the little boys, just like Jimmy, seemed as rapt as their girlie friends!

How exciting that we got to see it before anybody else and it airs for all to see today at 4.30pm on Nick Jr. Make sure you don’t miss it!
