Summer Holidays 2024 – Week 1!

First week of the summer holidays kicked off with the big two being broken up already for 2 whole weeks before the rest of us. Jimmy spent the first week in school sports camp which he said was one of the best weeks of his life and then in week 2 Florence, after finishing up her Workshop classes, jetted off to Spain with friends from London – it’s alright for some. People keep asking me what our summer plans are but actually, we don’t have many. I’d love to be going off on an all inclusive for 2 weeks but holidays are a bit out of budget this year so we’ve decided to holiday at home instead. Consciously make like we are on holiday on the good weather days and do nice things for day trips. We kicked off with a heat wave so it was time to get the pool out and pretend we were in the Med. When you squint a bit, in 28 degree heat, you can almost believe it!
