Suneez Sunglasses!
We’ve been trialling out Suneez Sunglasses these past few weeks with the boys and we have to say, what a winner! Hand on heart, we’ve not had sunglasses before that the children’ haven’t either lost or broken with near immediate effect. Lenses scratch, frames break, they take them off and put them down… Now, I’m not saying those things wouldn’t be possible with Suneez but, it would be a darn site harder!
They are almost indestructible with their flexible material allowing them to bend but not snap, and with the silicone strap which comes included, it makes it far harder to lose them as they simply hang around their neck when not on their face (I will say this is incredibly hard to apply to the handles BUT, once it’s on, it’s not coming off)! Saying that, Raffie has been rather taken with his and hasn’t taken them off very much at all! They have become a bit of a permanent wear and I’m afraid he’s commandeered two out of three pairs which arrived as a gift from Suneez for him, Jimmy and Florence.
They are designed in two sized for ages 3-8 and 8-12 but we were only sent ages 8-12 and Raffie, age 4, seems to be making them work (the arms are too long and he would need the younger model ideally but he still wears them big and styles it out as you can see). For Florence, age 12, they are just that little bit too small I’m afraid and so this is how it has come about that the boys have three pairs between them!
Polarized lenses to help cut out glare and with both UV400 and 100% UVA/UVB protection to keep eyes safe from harmful ultra violet rays, these are great for children’s eyes. I think we often think about ourselves with sunglasses (I wear mine year round) but often wise the children do get forgotten. It’s almost certainly in my case because they feel like hassle with the breakability and losing potential, minimised of course with Suneez.
Suneez also look great, they look like high end sunnies and that’s what the kids especially like. Coupled with the fact they come with a microfibre bag which doubles as a cleaning cloth and a lifetime replacement guarantee for if they do happen to break and they’re a great investment at £25 per pair.
