Teddy Eva Scents!

Teddy Eva Scents!

I would say I’m more a lick and a spit kind of gal when it comes to the cleaning, Mrs Hinch I am not. I’ve got four children and really the focus is doing what I can so that we don’t drown in the mountains of laundry, making sure everyone has clean clothes, clean bedding, that the floors are vacuumed and the sides are clean. I rarely have time for more than a flick of the Pledge Fluffy when it comes to dusting and when I do get around to cleaning the skirting boards I always curse myself for not making them more of a priority but in reality, when would I have time to make that priority come to fruition so I carry on…

My new thing is to do one big (ish) job a day and that way I seem to just about keep afloat. One cursory all over every week with the bathrooms thoroughly done, and in rotation the fridge, the cupboards, skirting and windows… We haven’t drowned yet but let’s just say I haven’t fallen into the habit of “putting my sink to bed” every night. I love a clean, CLEAN home but… But… BUT…

I do my best essentially and as part of that best I do always try to make the house smell good. That’s an easy add on. I figure people will see the periphery of clean and tidy (I actually think the tidying takes way longer than the cleaning which can’t be done until it’s clear – catch 22 or what?!) and if they can smell that the place is loved and looked after it makes all the difference. The thing about adding scents to the home also is that you can create ambience and mood. At Christmas time you can add in the smell of the festive season for example. Now that it’s summer I like fresh smells. Linens and fruit and in the evenings it’s nice to relax with something soothing like wax melts.

I’ve been using Teddy Eva Scents recently with their glorious wax melts which come in an abundance of fragrances and the room spray they sent me in TYLWYTH TEG EIRA (this means snow fairy in Welsh) is the most deliciously fresh and sweet scent which fills this air for literally hours. Gone are the old days of unpleasant room sprays set to mask unpleasant odours from the bathroom only combining them to make nothing pleasant at all. These days it’s all about filling your home with scents which are there in their own right, to mask nothing but simply set to enhance the air in your home and Teddy Eva Scents have a room spray which is bossing that. There’s nothing tacky or clagging about any of the gorgeously scented wax melts I’ve been trying out for various moods either. They all just add a real pleasure and pleasantness to every room.

The LIME, BASIL AND MANDARIN block for the day time after a clean adds a great deal to the lacking in my time for deep cleaning and of an evening, when I get the chance to have a bath, I’ve been melting STARRY NIGHT to relax me and get me ready for bed. STRAWBERRY & LILY, SPRING AWAKENING, FRESH LINEN and ALIEN are all other scents I’ve melted into the ambience of my home and enjoyed but I have to say, the TYLWYTH TEG EIRA is my favourite and luckily they do that in a wax melt as well! They make a tremendous amount of different scents so check them out to find the one for you!

You can try a pot of wax for 99p to find out which scents you prefer before you commit to a whole clamshell block (where you get 5 for the price of 4) and then, when you’ve plumped for the right scent you will find their delivery and packaging is really rather beautiful too. I received a bag of sweeties with my order along with a hand written note where, as we are working with them, they kindly offered my readers a 10% discount code with orders. Use ROCKNROLLER at the checkout to make the saving and happy shopping. You won’t be disappointed.
