With my new thing of a Friday Night Treat Tea I am getting very happy when it comes to novelty food! Every week on a Friday we do our special themed tea to celebrate the beginning of the weekend and the children love it. They think choosing a theme each week is brilliant fun and even when my creations are a little less than perfect they are still pleased! It’s the holidays right now and we only do the treat teas during term time so this week, instead, we will be celebrating Halloween with lots of spooky treats throughout the week!
Warburtons sent me some of their yummy half and half products and challenged me to create something for Halloween using them. They also sent some suggested ideas, themed plates and napkins. Brilliant! Using a little bit of one of their ideas and a little bit of an idea I saw on the Eats Amazing blog and combining them I created some cheese on toast spooky pumpkins!
we love the thins as I said, they are so tasty and easy to use but the Half and half range is pretty good all round it has to be said. Soft and easy to eat but with all the taste of brown bread, great for children and indeed us! We went for a Halloween day out yesterday and took some soup in Thermos flasks to keep warm along with some sandwiches to dip in it! Of course we used Warburtons Half and Half bread!
Thanks for the goodies Warburtons, we had lots of fun with the challenge and hope you like the results!
Warburtons sent us a pack and set us a challenge for this post.
