What To Buy The Teacher For Christmas?!

It’s nice to buy the teacher’s a gift at the end of term as let’s face it, they do an amazing job! They work so hard (my husband is a teacher) and though contrary to popular belief they have short days and long holidays, the truth is it couldn’t be further from that. Jonny leaves the house early doors and doesn’t get home until late, he works ALL the holidays (which though pro rata pay is given they aren’t actually paid for) and he spends a lot of his own money on resources too,. This is because it’s vocation rather than a “job” and for that, and for our children, we need to show them our gratitude. Christmas is coming and instead of taking time working out what you should buy, how about letting the experts do the work so that you don’t have to and ordering something like a teacher teacher shirt from Teachersgram?!

They have a wealth of teacher tops  from the fun to the personalised and I particularly like this one which depicts all the books a teacher might read to his or her class. It would also do well for a world book day outfit so you’d be doing them a favour with the gift too!

If it isn’t teacher clothes on your agenda then they can help with other things too. How about teacher bags? Teachers carry a plethora of “stuff” with them everyday so choosing a personalised and perfect bag might be just the ticket!

Alternatively, give them the gift of ease and let them stamp their good marking rather than write it all down. Children love to get teachers stamps    and teachers love to give them!
