WIN The Little Prince Tickets At Norwich Theatre Royal!
Would you like to WIN a family ticket (x4 – made up of two adults and two children) for The Little Prince on October the 22nd at 3pm for Norwich Theatre Royal? Well look no further…
The Little Prince, a dance adaption of the world famous story which is one of the most translated books in the world, comes to Norwich Theatre Royal for half term and with the Protein Dance Company behind this portrayal, which is especially aimed at children over 3, it is set to be a brilliant chance to introduce your little ones to the theatre.
Find out how the Little Prince leaves behind his own tiny asteroid and beloved rose and journeys through the universe, coming face to face with the baffling world of grown-ups! Have you ever heard of a king who reigns over nothing? Or a businessman obsessively counting stars?
Once on planet Earth, the Little Prince is welcomed by a mysterious snake and a truly wise and friendly fox before encountering the lone pilot. Together they discover the power and beauty of friendship and the complexity of love.
The Guardian says of the production:
In Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic children’s story The Little Prince, the narrator, unable to draw a sheep, draws a box instead and explains that the sheep is inside it. It is one of many reminders that this exquisite tale is not only about life, love and death, but also about imagination.
And it looks wonderful – I’ve watched the trailer which shows how four dancers portray the story through dance providing a feast for the sense. It looks just up my children’s street, hey, it looks just up MY street! Taking kiddos to the theatre is so important and with productions like this, which we are so lucky to have visiting us in Norwich, we should grab the opportunity for a half term treat and give them a little culture as they are entertained!
