We visited Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World back in summer 2011 and we absolutely loved every minute of it and knew we wanted to go back. It was a bank holiday weekend on a Saturday and massively busy but we still had an utterly brilliant time. Florence still talks about that trip and I know it will be one of her first memories. Back then I went to review it and had been given tickets to enable me to do so; last week, when we visited again, we paid for the tickets and were very happy to do so, we knew they would be worth the money. It is, without doubt, the best theme park we have ever been to. And we’ve been to a lot!
I could ramble on with a review of our trip last week and go into minute detail but I don’t think I have to. I think a few words and then my pictures will speak for themselves!
The park is perfect for everyone. Aside from the wonderful Peppa Pig World which is at one edge of the park, Paultons Park is just amazing. There are beautiful gardens that are well looked after and make you want to sit and read a book in the calm and tranquil environment, animals and birds to visit, thrill rides for older ones and adults and baby rides suitable for really tiny ones everywhere you go! My Mum enjoyed the day. My husband enjoyed the day. The children loved it and I took so much pleasure in seeing everyone else happy. So much thought has been put into this park, it is SO well cared for and it makes me want to go back again and again. I honestly haven’t been anywhere as well thought out – there’s even a splash zone so take your swimming costumes.
Then of course there is Peppa Pig World! It’s magical and makes you feel like you are actually in the cartoon. There’s fair ground rides and play equipment, character’s houses to visit and at various times characters come out to meet and greet and everything everywhere is just perfect and no fan could ever be disappointed! We grinned from ear to ear! Again the gardening and the upkeep is impeccable and this really adds to everything! Peppa Pig World also has it’s own splash area and even an indoor play zone! We loved it and we just want to go again!
Right… Enough words, the pictures are really all you need to see how fab this place is!
Tickets are not too badly priced, especially if you book on-line in advance. Some theme parks charge nearly double the price they do at Paultons. One bonus for us is that Florence is just over 90cm tall, so tall enough for most of the little rides which DO have height restrictions but still under a meter so didn’t have to pay for her to get in.
Yesterday Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World were named the UK’s number one in the Traveller’s Choice 2013 top 10 amusement parks and water parks from the world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor. It’s not hard to see why!
I have not been paid to write this post in any way.
