How To Play Angry Water-Birds – #SaveSummer!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

It’s summer holidays time and that only means one thing! Bring on the fun!

With six whole weeks at home, it is up to us as parents to build entertainment for our little ones! Days out and entertaining children can be super expensive though so as well as the odd trip out to a theme park for a treat we need to do some brilliant things at home too!

We’re taking part in the Asda #SaveSummer challenge! This means that every week of the school holidays we will, as a family, take on a fun task set by Asda and share our antics with you! The good news is that the challenges are all really good value for money, of course, because everything you need comes from Asda!

For the latest challenge it involved the characters from ‘Angry Birds’. Not something we’re terribly familiar with but with a promise of water balloons AND chalking on the pavement that didn’t really matter! We invited some older pals of our to join us and set about our game. Its a game which could be taken to the letter or bespoked to your own family and loads of fun!

How do you do it?

1. First off use chalk to draw those bad piggies on the pavement.

2. Fill up your water balloons with lots of water and use a marker to
carefully draw on their angry faces. (>_<)

3. Ready, aim, fire your birds! Try to wash off the pigs with as few
balloons as possible.

4. You can reward the high score with an Angry Birds cake, or give out
drink bottles or lunch boxes.

Can you imagine! Throwing water balloons and watching them burst as well as drawing on the pavement! Sounded like lots of fun! This is what we got up to when we played the game in Hyde Park this week!

We thought we’d do it in Hyde Park as we found a fountain to fill the balloons up with and why not!

Some Angry Bird prizes were given out to celebrate! We gave our Angry Birds prizes to our friends as they’re older than us and like it more but we had lots of fun playing the game with them!

I have not been paid to write this post but I was supplied with the necessary tools to join in with the #SaveSummer challenge set by Asda.
