At Ever After High the teenaged children of some of Fairytale’s finest turn tradition upside down as they explore their own storis and destinies. The show has been a mega success on Netflix, Florence is a big fan, and the dolls to accompany the series are, in her mind, just as much of a hit!
We recently reviewed Apple White, the daughter of Snow and Florence loved her beautiful clothes and accessories. She made a Vlog about the doll on her own YouTube channel, Florence’s Toy Box, which you can see here. This time she has been sent one of the boys to review, Alistair Wonderland, who is the son of Alice. Alistair has been picked out to be a hero and has already started training at school but his destiny is not as straight forward as everyone else thinks because the Evil Queen set a curse. There’s the Rebels and the Royals and Alistair is in the Royals but should he be?
I guess you’ll have to catch the show on Netflix to see or you can play with the dolls and make your own mind up! Florence has really been enjoying playing with the doll version of Alistair who comes with big boots and a bag. She’s always wanted a boy doll to go with her many girl ones and I completely understand. I had very few Ken’s to my Barbie’s when I was little and absolutely loved the ones I DID have. Disco Derek from the Barbie Rockstars range was probably my favourite and this was because unlike other Barbie boys he had real hair (in a mullet actually) that you could brush. This Alistair Wonderland Ever After High doll also has a fine mop of hair so that instantly makes me keen!
He comes with a stand just like the other Ever After High dolls and has moveable limbs, hands and feet. Florence said his clothes are very easy to put on and off which is a bonus as this means she won’t keep asking me to do it as she has to with some of her other dolls. At £16.99 we think he makes a rather impressive Christmas present at a fairly decent price.
It’s certainly good to have a bit of a change around and get a boy doll for once, I’m sensing that like my few Ken dolls, this Alistair may have quite a few girl friends until another boy doll comes along! But hey, what boy doll doesn’t want a hareem?!
We were sent the Alistair Wonderland doll for the purpose of an honest review.
