I keep getting asked what I would like for Mother’s Day. Not, I have to say, by my husband! I’m not sure he’s even thought about it! I know he knows it IS Mother’s Day this weekend because he keeps talking about having something delivered to his own Mum but he’s made no mention of us doing something lovely for me…
I guess at least Florence being at nursery I will get a lovely home-made card from her and actually, that’s all I want! My honest answer to the people who have asked me the question is that I want a lovely day with my family and for my children to be happy. What Mummy would want anything else?
I won’t be seeing my Mum on the day as we are staying at home and she will be in Norfolk but she is coming down to see us tonight so I have got a few bits for her from the children. And where did I get them… Well, Asda obviously! Sometimes I think I spend half my life in the supermarket with absolutely no time to shop anywhere else so it’s a good job then that Asda do such terrific things for gifts when it comes to seasonal things like this!
The Asda Mother’s Day range is really good this year and I picked up a great little mug from me and a teddy bear for Florence to give her… Florence will obviously end up playing with it when we go to my Mum’s house but she’ll enjoy that it’s her gift to Gram! I would LOVE to get her this ‘Mumsie’ aswell! D’ya get it, ‘Mumsie’ instead of ‘onesie’! How cool is that!

Jonny wants to send flowers to his Mum so I was just having a look on-line and saw that Asda have a flower delivery service too! AND they’re delivering on Mothering Sunday! Asda’s sorted the whole of Mother’s day then!
