Back To School – September 2023!
And that was a wrap on the summer holidays for 2023! We had lots of fun, we loved being with each other, it wasn’t long (and it wasn’t hot) but it was summer and though 6 and a half (8 and a half for Florence) weeks seemed to stretch out before they came, they have disappeared in a flash!
Florence goes into L5/Year 9!
My special big girl is as beautiful on the inside as she is the out and we are so incredibly proud of her for all her achievements. She works hard at absolutely everything she sets her mind to and even when she doesn’t like something she will give it her best shot. So unlike me, and I’m so glad about that!
Florence goes into Lower 5 with a real clue as to who she is and where she wants to go. She is a star in the making and she’s gonna smash the 5th form like she did the 4th – GO FLORENCE!
Jimmy starts high school in L4/Year 7!
The best big boy! He is so like me we sometimes butt heads but you know what, he’s also a much better version with so much to offer. He tells me things and facts which make me gawp, how does he know these things?! How is he so interesting without even trying?! He is so brave too, going to a big school on his own with no primary school friends and he does it with such grace. I am his biggest cheerleader – I can’t wait to see him love being in Lower 4!
Raffie joins Year!
Oh Raffie, such a special, special baby boy! He fell in love with school last year and I just know year one is going to be even better, His smile and giggle, his zest, his want to please and be pleasing. Raffie will always be the baby boy but year one and he’s a big school boy too. I still miss my little’n’ so much – I’m not sure I ever really get used to any of them at school but it seems all wrong that Raffie has already done a year and is going to do his second. He’ll be ace I know!
Posie is still all mine!
Oh but Posie is the one who so desperately wants to go to school and I so desperately want her to stay with me. She will start nursery after Easter but shhh, we won’t talk of that yet! She is bright and brilliant and my little bestie, time with her is the best and she is, as she always has been, the very best company ever. I remember saying that when she was born and it was as true then as it is now! She’s brilliant!
And a few more…
