Back To The Real World With Femme Luxe!

Today’s the day! We can FINALLY go out, can eat in restaurants, attend meetings, hug friends and so much more! We’re back to the real world all of a sudden but what on earth are we going to wear?!

We’ve been in loungewear for so long and don’t get me wrong, I love my loungewear and am still very much enjoying wearing some of the great pieces I’ve picked up at Femme Luxe recently. I even have “going out” sets which I’ve written about recently and I particularly love my Grey Loungewear from there as well as this lush new black set with a slight crop to the top and a zip collar opening!

But staying in is SO yesterday and dressing up for going out is where it’s at! Little black dresses and boots are so my thing, summer floaty numbers too and I can’t wait to dress up a pair of jeans in what will be the first time in actual years. I’m also going to have to come to terms with the fact I might have to leave my living room for a work meeting some time soon and think about wearing something on my bottom half too as the affordability of a Zoom “waist up only” will entirely be lost. For working hard I’ve chosen their Grey Tartan Slim Leg Trousers in Marie to see me eased gently into the world of using my brain in front of people again. They’re stretch and super soft so very comfy but they look tailored and ready for the office!

And for when I’m bored of the boardroom I will pick up right back where I want to be now that lockdown is eased and the invites are rolling and I’ve got me a brand new LBD with polka dots! The Satine Black and While Polka Dot Wrap Mini Dress with Long Sleeves is so a bit of me. LBD – TICK! Boots – TICK! Ready for the real world – TICK!
