I often see other parents in restaurants and other places where you need to keep children sitting nicely and they have whole bags of tricks to keep their little ones happy. Out come tupperwares filled with cars, Lego, crayons etc and all I can do is look on with jealousy. Jealousy that they’ve been so organised and as my children look longingly at the ther kid’s fun things I try to force them to busty their head in the iPad (I DO remember that at least) but what kind of Mum does that make me? A lazy one!
Of course having a bag of stickle bricks is preferable to them playing Minion Rush and having an argument about keeping the sound down (c’mon, I told you I’m disorganised, you didn’t think I’d remember head phones did you?) but for some reason I’ve never got my act together and made up a little bag of entertaining tricks to come out with us. Until now…
We were sent a box of Bizzie Bits which are flat building bricks of all different shapes and sizes and they have holes in the middle so that wheels can be popped in. They looked really good so I decided, for once, I’d be super organised and take them to my cousin’s wedding bro keep Jimmy occupied during the speeches.
As it turned out he’s the sort of boy who likes to skid around the floor on his knees at weddings (there’s always one) and because the day leant itself to him not having to sit down and listen we never got them out but on the way home from the hotel the next day he spied them and has been playing ever since.
The box we were sent has 63 differently shaped pieces and they all click together rather nicely. Jimmy can make lots of things entirely on his own but with Daddy’s help followed the instructions to make the car on the box which, when built, is very sturdy and great fun to play with.
He loves these Bizzy Bitz and I’m absolutely keeping them in a Tupperware in my bag for future meals out and the like. Brilliant fun and keeps him entertained for ages! Perfect!
I was sent the Bizzy Bitz for the purpose of an honest review.
