The Early learning Centre set us a challenge for Mother’s Day to join in with their bake off and create something yummy in the kitchen using their ‘Let’s Bake’ range of products!
Florence loves to bake and in particular likes to bake cup cakes so she was very pleased to have been sent the Cup Cake baking Set which we think is fabulous value at £15 and comes with a baking tray, silicon cases, piping equipment, a cake stand and some recipe cards! She was also sent the utensils set which matches the other sets in the range and at £8 is also extremely great value!
We decided that for a treat we would bake some chocolate fondant cup cakes from my Hummingbird Bakery cook book and they were totally yum! I say were because they really didn’t last long! We had great fun making them and I think we might have to make another batch for when my Mum comes to visit this week…
Florence thought cooking with the ELC ‘Let’s Bake’ range was super fun!
She especially enjoyed using the icing wand but no chocolate cooking is complete without licking the bowl afterwards so when all the fondant had been put on the cakes Florence finished off the rest!
And then we decorated! The cup cake stand is brilliant and we’ve saved it to use again another time!
