Disney On Ice presents Worlds Of Fantasy!

Florence is Disney crazy! She doesn’t even want to watch a movie if the castle and fireworks don’t kick it off and when it comes to shopping, well! She’d literally spend hours perusing the shelves in the Disney store! I’ve never seen anything twice at the cinema before now but since it came out I seem to have taken Florence THREE times to see ‘Frozen’ and we’ve already bought it on DVD awaiting the 31st March when we can pick it up!

It’s not just ‘Frozen’ though, oh no… She’s a mega fan of them all and we really like Mickey and Minnie Mouse too! Who doesn’t? But Florence’s absolute favourite films have the Disney Princesses in them… Of course! Christmas felt like we were actually IN a Disney movie as Florence’s presents were mainly dress up from the store and she spent the whole holidays (and her birthday) dressed as a Disney Princess or five…

Birthday

Florence as ‘Belle’ on her birthday!

Well, for such a mega fan of all things Disney, what could be better than a trip to see Disney On Ice? She’s a lucky little lady because we are going in April and we, none of us actually, can wait! It sounds AWESOME!

Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy Takes Families on a Whirlwind Tour of
Contemporary and Classic Disney Tales which will whisk audiences away to four magical locations on an action-packed tour led by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse! It’s showing nationwide and started on 5th March 2014.

This captivating adventure takes Disney lovers across the auto-racing terrain of Cars, Andy’s bedroom for some Toy Story 3 fun, under the sea with Ariel from The Little Mermaid and into Tinker Bell’s mystical Pixie Hollow.

The on-ice excitement begins when Mickey Mouse embarks on an adventurous journey with Minnie Mouse to uncover each world of fantasy, but the plan goes awry when their cherry red roadster unexpectedly breaks down. Although Donald Duck and Goofy try, it takes the assistance of the coolest Cars on the ice to get the pistons firing again.

Mickey and Minnie’s “road trip” continues by diving into Ariel’s fluorescent, coral-covered
world in The Little Mermaid and into the colorful fantasy land of Disney’s Fairies for the Tinker Bell segment.

Producer Kenneth Feld says: “All of this provides a value that is truly unparalleled in the world of live family entertainment. More than ever before, there’s something for everyone.”

We agree and I can already see that Toy Story will appeal to all four of us (although it is Daddy’s special favourite), Cars will be just up Jimmy’s street and Ariel and Tinkerbell will be Florence’s best bits I’m sure. Of course Mickey and Minnie will be wonderful too and I just can’t wait to see the children’s faces!

Each life size car took 2,000 man-hours to build, it takes over 12 hours to set up the show in each new market, 13 production trucks are used to take this show from city to city and there are 79 different paint colours in the show! WOW! Something with THIS much work is going to be simply mesmerising! I will report back afterwards of course but I think we all know it’s going to be fab, how could it not be!?

Doesn’t it look AMAZING!
