It’s a new found favourite I’ll give it that but favourite it is. Florence was introduced to DocMcStuffins I don’t know where? One day she just seemed to appear in our lives with a constant ‘Please can I have Doc McStuffins on the on demand’. We only have 4 episodes but round and round they go as if on a constant loop! I actually find myself singing along with the many songs so catchy are they; no wonder my little singing lover is so enchanted watching the cartoon which sees Doc McStiffins, the child of an MD, offering her toys the chance to be made well when poorly by her own Doctorly skills (with sometimes a little help from her Mum).
Enchanted I would say the word is for Florence. The appeal is ten fold really from Doc McStuffins pretty pink shoes to as I mentioned the catchy tunes but also it has to be noted that the stories, the four I’ve seen anyway, are actually very sweet and entertaining. It was inevitable then that toys would follow the series and almost certainly inevitable that Florence would be interested in said toys! Totally fabulous then that I was offered the chance to review the new Doc McStuffins Magic Talkin’ Check-Up Set!
Doc McStuffins comes with a check up table, her Doctor’s bag and two of her toys, Lambie and Stuffie who both can sit on the table and when you press a button it makes them speak!
Florence was utterly thrilled when I showed her the toy and has quite literally taken it everywhere since she got it, even to a wedding where she played with Doc McStuffins all day!
What Florence likes is that the little bag has tiny Doctors equipment which fits inside it, the fact that Doc McStuffins has clothes and shoes which are removable and that everything is rather sparkly and pink.
The hair on the doll is manly plastic but her pig tails are synthetic hair in plaits and this again pleased Florence. The only thing she wasn’t so keen on was the fact that the animals only say one thing each. Not a massive problem as she has a fabulous imagination but perhaps they could have had a couple of phrases instead of just the one?
I would definitely buy this set and Florence is VERY pleased with it!
