Last week we took Le Donk up to and Kensington and Chelsea for a bit of a Royal day out! I love using the Donkey for a big day out because it acts like it’s name suggests and does all the donkey work for you! With two little ones there’s an awful lot you need to carry for a day out and the shopping basket is just super to be able to use. Everyone always looks and says ‘what a fab buggy!’ and they’re absolutely right!
I tend to use it as a single with the shopping basket when travelling on the tube because as a single it fits on the escalators (most stations don’t have lifts) and it’s easy to carry up stairs with a bit of help from a passer-by. I do travel on the tube with it as a double but I have to choose my stations rather carefully and as Florence is happy to travel in the sling on my back while on the train and then likes to hop on the buggy board, it works well to use it like that if I need to.
We were travelling to Queensway on the Central line which is aptly named for our right Royal day out. First stop, The Princess Diana Memorial Playground! I love it here and it is, as you would expect, completely buggy friendly and with so much to do the children have a ball in here! It’s FREE to get in but being in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea it is right in the thick of Yummy Mummy land and what Yummy Mummy would be complete without a Bugaboo? I always see so many other Bugaboo owners and we all kind of have a special nod of acknowledgment a bit like the VW owners and their special sign. I love it! (Have you SEEN Bugaboo’s summer colours by the way?! I WANT blue and yellow hoods with black and white stripes on the inside for MY Donkey and I MUST get a Breezy Sun Canopy for my Bee this year!)
The Musical instruments to run over are fab, especially with wheels!
We love the park!
Le Donk even made a new little friend! Seems like nothing and no one can resist the comfort of a Bugaboo!
Donkey meets Robin!
And next on our Royal day out was Kensington Palace! Guess who lives there when they’re in London? Only Prince William and Kate! I bet if they had looked out the window and seen Le Donk that would have been them done in their buggy choosing! Wonder which buggy they will actually go for? I reckon the Donkey is the best choice! After all, they will want want to plan ahead, it may only be one Royal baby at the moment but what about when it’s two?! I love the fact this buggy is just as brilliant as a double as it is a single, bet you can’t say that for many others!
They must have known Le Donk and Jimmy were on their way!
We had yet another fab day out with our Donkey!
