I love Morrisons and over the weekend when we held Florence’s birthday party and our leaving London party I picked up some brilliantly priced booze for the occasion. I love their Prosecco which is on offer at £6 a bottle right now, or, if you can get hold of it for some brilliant wow factor they are selling magnums for £12 – so at no extra cost! Unfortunately my local didn’t have any of the magnums left so we made do with a few more of the regular sized bottles but they were absolutely delish! You can’t have a party without some good fizz now can you?!
You also can’t have a party without some new toggs and although our parties over the weekend were ‘Wizard Of Oz’ fancy dress we are going to plenty more parties this festive season where we can absolutely dress up. Recently they sent me a Christmas jumper to wear and I chose one of the ones from the men’s range. I love a slouchy jumper and this fleece lined sweater ticked all the right boxes for me. Now I just have to stop Jonny stealing it although I did let him wear it for work on Christmas jumper day. He liked it more than he likes his own festive jumper which he’s had for years because this one is really light. We’re not exactly in the depths of winter weather wise so it’s perfect!
They also sent Florence the most gorgeous clothes for Christmas day! Sparkly tights, a skirt with father Christmas on his sleigh flying over treetops in a festive land below and the most gorgeous starry top and cardigan, she is thrilled and the most expensive item in the bunch is £8! Can’t say better than that for something special on Christmas day, a festive party or New Year’s Eve best now can you?!
