Halloween Half Term 2025!

We had a 2 week half term for the bug kids, while the tiny two had to push through an eighth week and frankly, it was too much. We took the Wednesday of that week off to rest because it was needed and with starting our pumpkin patching the weekend before, it felt like we gifted ourselves a bit more of a break. I love Halloween half term, I always have! This year, we went a BIT slower than usual, it feels good to rest as well as play I am discovering, and with all our usual antics too, it made for a very happy half term!

Pumpkin patching (as Posie calls it) at Wroxham Barns, my, now annual, Murder Mystery for village pals, a Halloween light trail in Thetford, a trip to the zoo, Raffie and Jonny took Raffie’s birthday trip to Manchester, we had a Halloween party for the little one’s friends, and finished with another Wroxham Barns shindig with their low bang fireworks for Bonfire Night – which we get to do a second innings of with our village display next week. I feel sad to be going back to school but boy, did we have a fantastic break!
