We love this idea and have been trying out some of the fab things they have on offer!
Last week I wrote about our trip to Farmer Palmer’s Farm in Poole and then this weekend we’ve done two more activities! We went bowling which I’ll write another post about and also tried our hands at horse riding! Horse riding is an expensive hobby and even to just do it once or twice it pushes the purse strings! To have a discount from Cravendale would make it much more affordable! I’m not saying it’s not worth the money because of course horses are very high maintenance but just that unless it is a bit of a vocation for you, it’s not really cheap enough to flit in and out of all that often! We were thrilled then to have this opportunity with Cravendale and we loved Aldersbrook Riding School which is close to where we live!
We had a half an hour class which meant my horse and Florence’s pony were led by experienced riders and we were taken to their indoor school to learn how to control the horse around obstacles and even to trot! Can you believe my little Florence did this one handed at one point as she was asked if she could twirl her other arm around in the air and she COULD!
We had such a fun time, the ladies helping us were super careful with Florence and I felt completely comfortable! Because I learned that this school do a tiny tots class for half an hour on Sunday mornings at a heavily reduced rate then I think we’d love to go back. A half an hours class is usually £22 for an adult or a child but on Sunday children get this for a group class at £15, totally do-able for a treat now and then!
What fun and thanks to the Love Cravendale Challenge we have been able to try it meaning Florence got to ride for the first time!
