I was sent a couple of items from the new 2015 winter range at my favourite Little Bird and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to pair them with some bits I had bought both from this season and from last year. I love Little Bird, which is designed by Jools Oliver, so much that I do tend to buy lots of pieces from the sales in bigger sizes ready and waiting for the next year.
Last year a couple of sale pieces I picked up were a gorgeous matching skirt and top which perfectly go with this year’s little red riding hood style cape and pelerine tights. Jimmy also has a shirt from the summer which has sleeves that roll up and button but at this time of year I’ve just rolled them down.

Love Florence’s Knitted Fairisle Cardigan (£15-£16) and Jimmy’s Rainbow Jacket (£14-£15) which we have paired with togs from the LB range in summer making them last a little bit longer by adding another, more wintry, layer! EVERYWHERE we go Florence’s cardigan gets complimented!Here it is again over the Star Print Dress (£14-£16)!I love the dress as it’s such a old-fashioned cut, something very similar to one I had when I was little but the fabric is super soft and very pretty unlike mine was!
Jimmy loves his green Cird Trousers (£14-£16) because they have this brilliant Little Bird rainbow on the bottom! They look really lovely with the Little Bird shirt from the summer too!And the Red Cords (£14-£16) are just as adorable which he is wearing here with his Christmas Jumper (£13-£15) and Red Wellies (£11-£13) from the Mothercare Own Brand ranges!
And this might quite possibly be my favourite piece from the winter collection! The Red Knitted Cape (£15-£16) which Florence is wearing with Red Pelerine Tights (£7-£9 for a two pack with a blue and red pair) and the skirt and matching top I bought in the sales last year!Florence absolutely loves this little steal from last year and so do I!
So… While I wouldn’t say we’re all set on our winter wardrobe from Little Bird, there’s LOADS more we love from the collection, we’ve certainly made a start!
