Our favourite food is ‘bit’s as we call it. A little bit of this and a little bit of that… Some olives and ham, crisps probably and maybe some dips… We just love that style of eating and Bento, a traditional way of serving food in japan, is perfect for us as it’s lots of little bits portioned up individually and put together as one box of bits! Lovely!
It’s also a fab way of feeding children as lots of little pots is quite exciting. I’ve seen some fab blogs where people make their children Bento boxes and make them very interesting indeed. I might not have tried it myself yet but I’ve just been sent a new lunch box to review and it’s all about Bento so now I’m starting to give the concept a go!
The Munchkin Click Lock Bento Mealtime Set is a box with two compartments, a big one and a smaller one and inside the smaller one goes two separate boxes both with lids. Then, the larger compartment also has a lid making that a box too and on top of that goes a click lock lid with a fork and spoon that click inside it!
It would be great to store sweet things and savoury things separately which is fab for school lunches I would imagine but also it means you can have a little bit of this and a little bit of that in each area! Just up our street!
The inner lids go on very tightly but if they did come loose then the clock lock lid is also there so no spills – perfect! The cuttelery clicks in and pops out very easily too!
What a fab idea and a great little box. It’s small too and goes in the dishwasher! I will have to get one for Jimmy too I think, very impressed!
I have not been paid to write this post but I was sent the box for the purpose of review.
