A while back I reviewed the Rug Doctor carpet clean. We had massively brilliant results and after I had flushed away the disgusting water that showed up my carpets to be rather less than clean they looked almost as good as new. The stains were gone in most places and the one very stubborn and old one was made considerably better! Not only that but the pile was brought up to show a fluffy and clean carpet just like it was when first laid!
I was very impressed with the results and when you consider that you hire these machines for around £30, depending on different store offers you can have them for 48 hours or more and you can do your whole house then it makes it the perfect way to deep clean carpets!
Obviously you can’t run out and hire the cleaner every month but twice a year is totally acceptable at their price and for the in between times Rug Doctor also make an array of products to deal with all the very different household spots and stains we may get on our carpet. There is a product even for eliminating urine odour. Little boy owners (pet owners too) can rejoice! They really do work!
I was invited to an event last week where Rug Doctor demonstrated spilling red wine, cranberry, cola… all sorts of things onto a white carpet. Their sprays alone remove these stains in seconds. Actually seconds! When they said I could take home as much as I could carry I didn’t have to be asked twice and as a buggy pusher I was in a rather good position to stock up – this is NOT a product I want to be without. Mind you, they’re not terribly expensive and mainly under a fiver!
I will be using Rug Doctor again in the future, it’s so easy and takes very little time but I will also keep my handy stock of products to hand! With small children you have to! While I was t the Rug Doctor event they swabbed my shoe to see what germs lurk on them… I’ll get back to you with that – if I can bring myself to admit it and for the time being revert to my old rule of no shoes in the house!
Take a look at my video and see for yourself how good Rug Doctor is and note you can hire these from all sorts of high street retailers like Homebase, Asda, Tesco and B&Q! Just look for the signs in stores and my advice would be that even if you have a really old manky carpet it is worth using a Rug Doctor before you buy a new one! You can even buy your own machine and with handy new ones coming out in much smaller sizes they’re a really great option! They are honestly seriously good at what they do!
I was invited to see some new Rug Doctor products and hear more about what Rug Doctor have to offer.
