Nikura Rosemary Essential Oil!
I’m a big fan of using essential oils for all manner of uses and when it comes to skin and hair treatments, like the Rosemary Aromatherapy Oil by Nikura that I’ve been using, I find essential oils to be so beneficial. Nourishing when thirsty, caring and restorative too and frankly, this one just feels really great on the skin too, while it leaves the hair gifted with shine but not greasy.
The Rosemary Hair and Skin Oil by Nikura is a natural product with properties known to offer strength to hair while also promoting growth. After four children my hair is much weaker, thinner and shorter than it used to be and I try to use oils like this to help it be less breakable and more likely to grow longer. You apply it to the roots of the hair whether dry or damp and a little goes a very long way. I like to brush mine through the hair so that lower down, where breakages have already occurred, it can help to nourish and repair there too.
This oil contains the rosemary (Tunisian essential oil) as well as Argan Oil (which I also use as a solo oil religiously for my face and nails), Jojoba Oil and Sweet Almond Oil. The combination marries together to create an oil which is suitable for all hair types and the bonus is that you can use it on your skin too. I said a little goes a long way and once you have it on your hands from applying it to your hair you should always just brush each hand up the opposite arm so that you don’t waste any. You’ll find that there will be enough residual oil to completely moisturise your arms this way and if you’d like to do the rest of your body very little extra will be needed.
The benefits to using Rosemary Oil don’t end at the caring properties for the skin and hair, as a natural by product of using it the aroma will calm and soothe your mind too. The essence, when inhaled, is known to help with anxieties so as an added extra that’s certainly not a bad one.
