We went to Paultons Park to visit Peppa Pig World when Florence was just 20 months old. She was already heavily into Peppa Pig and even though she was very little she still remembers it. I had thought that perhaps she remembered it only because we have talked about it but not very long ago she said ‘Do you remember I went on the helicopter ride with Phoebe at Peppa Pig World?’. She astounded me because she did indeed go on Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter ride with my sister Phoebe yet we hadn’t talked about that part of our trip when we reminiced at all. She really did just have such a good time that she remembers it! She has a good memory obviously but still, I’m sure it’s only the really special things that have stayed with her from that little!
She is three and a half now and can’t wait to go again, she has talked about us returning ever since and this week, this week is THE week! Excitement is bubbling and every mere mention of anything Peppa related (we’re a house of toddlers, this happens frequently) and squeals of delight at the forth coming trip can be heard all round East London I would think! Jimmy is just eleven months old now but I know he’ll enjoy it too! He kind of has no choice but to be a Peppa Pig fan with his older sister of course but you know what, I think he loves it too!
It’s not just Peppa Pig World that we liked so much but the whole of Paultons Park was very impressive. Please do read my last review here. I liked the fact that for lots of the rides in the park they have baby equivalents and there is also a lovely little zoo! This time we’re going with my Mum too and I just know that the children will have a fab time, as will we! Things I must remember to take this time are swimming costumes and towels – it might be sunny and if I remember rightly they had a superb splash area! Oh yes, we simply cannot wait! We’ve been before but it will be different now that Florence is older and that we have Jimmy too! My Mum will love the animals and the gardens and for me, I just want to see the children’s eyes come out on stalks as I know they will!
Some pictures from our first trip two years ago!
