Insurance is something we often put off because firstly, it feels like a cost we can do without, and secondly, especially when it comes to life insurance, it’s a topic no one is fond of talking about. But when you have a family it’s imperative to insure not just your home, your car and your contents (I mean honestly, a few pounds a month compared to the cost of a brand new washing machine right now and who can soak up that little puppy when it goes wrong?) but also to ensure the future of your loved ones for if the worst did happen is buying just a little peace of mind. But when you’ve no interest in insurance or the mechanics of it, I speak as someone who worked for an insurance company for a good few years and I still don’t have a clue (probably a good job I moved on), it’s hard to know where to begin when looking.
