My friend’s little girl, a friend of Florence’s ever since they were very small babies, is allergic to dairy products. She’s very good about it and always has been knowing that she can only eat food if it is ‘special’. She never moans and at only four you’d think she’d be entitled!
Zhane has lots of yummy food because her Mummy is very clever and creative and also she sources dairy free products wherever she can. The thing is, it is a bit of a struggle finding things that are nice or that are actually available to buy!
I was at a party the other day when I was given a carton of a new type of dairy free drink. As soon as I saw it I of course earmarked it for Zhane and when I next saw her I was able to give her the chocolatey treat!
Zhane enjoying the new rebel Kitchen drink!
Rebel Kitchen are the makers of this new dairy free carton and they say: ‘Rebel Kitchen is a food brand with a cause. If you’re tired of feeling that healthy eating is a chore, or bored of having to source niche, artisan produce at a high price, you need to join the rebellion!’
Launching with exciting dairy-free and totally yummy ‘mylk’ drinks for children, Rebel Kitchen is on a mission to make tasty, nourishing snacks available to everyone, everyday, everywhere. The first variety to launch will be Choco, with Banana and Orange Choc Mylk varieties coming soon – watch this space!
Designed for kids from three years of age – but so delicious that grown-ups will love them too – all of the drinks are made with a base of coconut milk blended with pure spring water from Somerset.
They are lactose-free and suitable for vegans, vegetarians or those on a dairy-free diet. All contain absolutely no additives, no preservatives and so, no worries. Perfect for our little friend Zhane! And what did she think after her taste?
She thought they were yummy and downed it quick smart! Her Mummy can buy her some more on line and keep her in yummy chocolatey drinks which she can enjoy with everyone else for once! Lovely!
