I first found my lovely Seraphine breast feeding shawl back in November when I attended the launch of the Marlebone store!

It was my first introduction to Seraphine as although I had heard of them I’d not managed to see any of their clothes before. There was a lot to fall in love with at the store and it wasn’t just the shawl which took my eye! Rows upon rows of gorgeous coats, evening dresses, day wear and accessories as well as everything else you would want from a maternity brand – even super comfy yet fashionable shoes!

I love the way the lines are designed for pregnancy and way beyond. Lots of them are exceptional for breast feeding with poppers in the right but not, as it happens, usual places for clothes of this requirement and with fashion at the front of design as well as practical and comfort needs being just as high on the agenda! What’s even more special is that they can all easily be worn after pregnancy which makes them oh so even more appealing! These are certainly NOT clothes to wear because you’re still carrying a bit of pregnancy weight, these are clothes to wear still because you LOVE them so much and they look so good!

I haven’t been pregnant for a while now but I would absolutely still buy from Seraphine and have the slouchy trousers and popper nursing top on my wish list at the moment! I was also very lucky and asked to review the beautiful bamboo nursing shawl which is soft to the touch, thin and light and has poppers on one shoulder! This is perfect for covering up a feeding baby as the material is so delicate and wouldn’t upset the baby but it is also perfect for going to the theatre sans babies, sitting outside with a glass of something lovely on a summer’s evening and anything else you might wish to look gorgeous for! I absolutely LOVE it! It also folds up really small and can be popped in a small handbag if you just want it to use for nursing purposes but it’s not appropriate to have it on all day!

I adore it for being glam AND just sitting on the sofa! (Oh and it’s great for covering a feeding baby of course – the material is so light, it’s perfect for the job it is intended for too!) And don’t you just love the popper detail!

The shawl is amazing and I definitely want to add to my Seraphine collection with these classic and beautiful clothes… Well, if it’s good enough for The Duchess of Cambridge (who was spotted in Seraphine while pregnant)…
