In recent months I have become far more interested in natural products for the skin, especially for my little ones. I think it’s easy to think about the actual products we are using but what about the materials used to apply them? I’m not sure I’ve thought too much about that in the past but since my latest find I can totally see the benefits in using natural products in that area too. I’ve found the perfect sponge for a new baby; it’s perfect because it is all natural and 100% from the sea bed. The Tippitoes Seaborne Natural Baby Sponge when dry is quite solid and small but as soon as you rinse it through the softness just pops up as it expands and it’s so gentle on Jimmy’s skin. In the morning I use it to just wipe his face over with water and then he has it in the bath of an evening. I rinse it thoroughly each night, squeeze out the water and pop it back in the handy tub it comes in which makes it an excellent choice for travelling with too! One other reason I love to use something so soft is because Jimmy has a very sore spot on his arm from his BCG jab and the Doctor has told me to just bathe it gently with water, this sponge is just great for that purpose! It costs £4.99 which might seem quite expensive but you have to remember it is grown especially in extraction areas on the sea bed (so as not to harm the environment) and it lasts and lasts. I don’t think anything could be kinder for baby skin, I’m super impressed!
