When I went to the launch party to celebrate Bratz dolls being back recently I was quite taken with the ‘Study Abroad’ range. The dolls, there are five of them including Raya, Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin and Jade have lots of different ranges but this one really took my eye. Five dolls sent to study in five different contries and dressed up to fit! I really liked two of the dolls best at the launch, one was the London doll and the other, Brazil!
Sasha is the doll who studies in London and as that’s where we live she had to be my first choice but second, because I have a great friend from Brazil, had to be the Study Abroad in Brazil doll, Yasmin! We were sent Yasmin this week to have a play and review her properly and she’s been going down a treat!
There;s a little bit on the back about what Yasmin likes (studying to speak Portugese and learning to samba) and as you can see, she comes with LOADS of accessories which we have been VERY impressed with. She comes with a hair brush which is the first thing we look for but so much more to boot!
And the great thing about the accessories with Bratz dolls is that they are usually functional and not just aesthetic which can be the case with lots of fashion dolls. Here this one has a suitcase to pack up all her things for her travels but instead of being a useless prop it actually opens and you can fit all her gear inside. Her hand bag also has space to put things!
The amount of accessories she comes with mean she has a whole new outfit to put on which is, of course, the first thing any child with a new doll wants to do. We think both are rather fabulous and we particularly like the Pineapple she comes with although we’re not entirely sure what to do with it so we assume it’s a piece of jewellery because it has a loop attached to it and have been using it as such!
This range is very cute and because of all the extra pieces she comes with it’s a ten out of ten from us! No faults whatsoever!
We were sent the Study Abroad Bratz doll for the purpose of an honest review.
