Summer Holidays 2025 – Week 5!

What a week! Marred only by the small fact we had to actually leave Menorca and come home (sob)! We enjoyed most of it on holiday and having the best time ever. Our hotel was so much fun for the children, with such lovely areas to sit and be quiet as well and the beach, which the hotel is basically ON, was just the best. Oh how we will miss the eating, drinking, being merry and lounging in the sunshine. But… I guess if we didn’t have to leave, we wouldn’t be able to go back!

Unfortunately Posie got a sickness bug for the journey home which wasn’t the greatest but at least it didn’t happen while we were there!

And, it’s not all doom and gloom because we came home to a bank holiday weekend and still no school or work. We’ve one more week of the summer holidays left, which on the one hand feels panic inducing but on the other, well, if it was half term then we’d be excited to have a whole week off. I’m not looking forward to Posie starting school and the backs of my eyes prick with tears when I think about it too deeply so, one more week of fun it is!
