Summer Holiday Diary – Week Two!

I think we are properly in the swing of things now with the first week feeling a bit mental like ‘Are we REALLY allowed to be wagging and doing what we want?’ and now we’ve settled into an easy ‘yeah, let’s just have fun, eat what we want, go to bed when we feel like it and do everything and nothing all at the same time!’

I find it very hard to actually do nothing thought so we have been here there and everywhere as always! Thursday saw us on a visit to Gressenhall as I had a small meeting ahead of the next Norfolk Museums event, Friday and it was Dinosaur Park fun at Roarr with friends and then Saturday the big kids went with friends to see The Lion King before a birthday party for another pal for Jimmy. Obviously Florence and Raffie and I had some swim time  while he was out! We’ve had some time at the beach surfing and swimming, time with friends, we went to the zoo and poor Flobo and Raffie had a day out feeling sick so I caught up on some cleaning… Guess you gotta do it at some point!

And all in this another of my oldest and dearest friends gave birth to her two new beautiful twins which I was very honoured to have been the first pal of theirs to meet them and give them a squeeze. She was in the room next to the one I was in with Raffie and it made me transport back in time to then. I really think this family could grow one more… We will see! Mind you… Raffie NEVER sleeps so perhaps we ought to get him sorted out first!

Gressenhall was great with friends!
As was the Dino Park!
I think his feet say all you need to know about how much fun they’ve been having!
We just call him Mowgli!
With some best friends at Time and Tide!
Being on the beach suits us all!
Especially this one who loves to rock pool and go crabbing!
Finding treasures!
And this one who just loves to surf!
And surf!
Oh it suits all of us really!
No one got the hump!
We spent lots of time with Gram!
Ok maybe one of us got the hump!
But mainly we had fun, this was at Banham Zoo!
Oh and we discovered that no one really likes fresh coconut and that Jimmy calls them coco fruit – which we are now all going to adopt!
