We do eat meat but I absolutely love vegetarian food and will often choose a veggie option rather than meat. My veggie lasagne is a family favourite and I also absolutely love to eat nut roast!
The thing about veggie food is that I often have to spend a long time preparing it to make it full of flavour and very often I just don’t have time. It’s sometimes easier to go down the meat route because it doesn’t need as much time or care.
That’s why I absolutely love the Tesco frozen ‘Meat free’ range! Lots of lovely healthy vegetarian options like ‘Mexican Style Bean Burgers’ and ‘Mushroom Riosotto Bakes’! They are fairly low in calories for the most part, easy to whip out the freezer and in the oven and they are jam packed with flavour! They also do meat taste alikes such as veggie mince and chicken. I’m not wild about that idea in general if I’m honest so I haven’t tried those products but the vegetable based ones are yum!
A Particular fave of mine is the Glamorgan Sausages which are cheesey and made with leeks, totally unctious! I also like the ‘Beetroot and Goats Cheese Bakes’ and the new ‘Arancini Tapas’ with two different flavours is fantastic and only 75p a box at the moment!
This is what my middle freezer drawer looks like… You can see we are fans!
Yummy, yummy! Veggie food doesn’t have to be boring and with this range it’s convenient and quick too!
I was sent a voucher to try some of the ‘Meat Free’ frozen range at Tesco for the purpose of an honest review.
