I’ve mentioned before that we’re all huge fans of Drusilla’s Park in East Sussex! We went last year for Jimmy’s birthday and it was brilliant! I love the way that even at just one year old he was able to run around all day as it was so safe and of course he loved the animals and rides!
There’s a pretty heavy ‘Thomas’ theme for little train fans which I think he’ll enoy even more this year but this summer will also see ‘Hello Kitty’ come to Drusilla’s when her garden opens this summer!
The ‘Hello Kitty Secret Garden’ is going to be Europe’s first permanent Hello Kitty attraction and we think one of the rides in particular looks superb! The ‘Hello Kitty Car Ride’ will cover 140 metres of track and incorporate seven themed vehicles seating up to two passengers each. Hello Kitty fans can enjoy a magical tour of the Secret Garden, travelling through two beautifully themed tunnels and passing the Hello Kitty Hopper ride and Hello Kitty Tea Cup ride along the way.
The ‘Hello Kitty Car Ride’!
Drusillas say that it’s now a bit of a race against time to get it finished on time for their summer opening which will see ‘Hello Kitty’ herself appear on 20 dates during the year!
If you’d like to go this summer then check out their webiste www.drusillas.co.uk and to be in with a chance of winning a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) for a date of your choice enter via the Rafflecopter below!

A hot day and lots of icecream with happy faces
Our ideal day out would be something with a Hello Kitty theme for my 10 year old daughter and something with a Thomas theme for my 4 and 6 year old boys, so Drusillas would be perfect for them.
A lovely sunny day, a picnic, ice cream and happy children 😉
Lots of sun, fun and ice-cream – but it will be perfect regardless as long as we get to spend the day together as a family!

Something that everyone in the family will enjoy. Along with a nice cafe and somewhere clean.
The ideal family day out is where everyone turns up at a given place. A park, beach, anywhere but we are all there.
Hi we are in sussex on holiday when the hello kitty secret garden opens. My little girl is three and adores hello kitty so this would make her holiday extra special.
A day for my three year old little girl at the hello kitty secret garden would definitely be her perfect day.
A sunny day… A place where we can have fun, but be able to sit down and relax for a bit too x
We love going for picnics, either at local parks or london parks. Theme parks are extra special trips for the family.
The seaside…or animals!
A family picnic at the beach in cornwall
thanks for the chance i love it too but its expensive with 3. Nice treat for them Brighton girl.xx
My ideal family day out would include seeing animals, digging in the sand, looking for gold, and some hello kitty rides! 😀
It would definatley be Drusillas as its our local!! The perfecr day would be lots of sunshine, shade and a yummy picnic, surounded by family!!
My ideal day out would be somewhere like Drusilla’s as I have four children varying in age between 7 and 18. Drusilla’s is safe, so the older children can go off and do whatever they like (the 18 year old probably wouldn’t come) and then we can all sit together and have a picnic lunch. After everyone has had enough, we can travel down to the coast, have a fish and chip supper and eat it on the beach, before driving home with tired, but happy, children.
Also commented on your “I can cook” party post.
An attraction full of colour, fun and laughter. Where my children can see animals of the world and also their favourite characters, Rides are always fun even if its just soft play area for the kids and I can catch 5 minutes with a coffee, but most importantly a place where we can create a fabulous family day out memory 🙂
Speading quality time with all the family, where the children can have fun and learn.drusillas being a perfect day out,my 6 year old wanting to be a vet when she’s older as loves animals, she would like to be a keeper for the day for her birthday.when the children have a fun enjoyable day then naturally the adults do too……I also love seeing the animals
