We love the Foodies Festival here at Rocknrollerbaby HQ. Many a summer day has been spent indulging at one of their lovely London events and last Christmas, when we attended their festiva festival, we had a great time there too!
A short walk down Brick Lane takes you to the Truman Brewery, home of the festival for all things yummy at Christmas, and with a friend and our boys we had a deliciously festive day trying lots of new nibbly bits for the Christmas period.
This year the festival is back from 27th – 29th November and the face of this year’s festival is none other than GBBO wnner Nadiya. We LOVED the Great British Bak Off and think it would be worth going just to see her but we know there’s lots of other amazing things to see too such as live chef shows, a tasting theatre, music, pop up restaurants, drinks and much more! There’s always plenty to keep little ones entertained too and we like to make a real family day of it!
If you fancy going this year then book your tickets here or feel lucky and enter my competition below! Maybe we will see you there!
Terms &Conditions: The prize is for two tickets on any day of the show. Entry will be via guest list. Travel and accommodation is not included.
funnily enough, the same as i eat at every other time. i don’t see it in any way special
Well that’s a shame! Maybe if you win you will find somethig super special and yummy at the festival that you can have on Christmas day. 🙂
Love the whole Christmas dinner, sprouts as well.
Me too! Totally with you, I had a sprout pizza at Pizza Express yesterday and it was AMAZING! 🙂
My most favourite food at Christmas is hot pork rolls and crackling on Christmas Eve. Roast Turkey, Beef and Gammon with all the trimmings for Christmas Day. And cold meats, mashed potatoes, peas and pickles for boxing day. The reason is I love the house being filled with all the smells of cooking over 3 to 4 days and also filled with the family who love to eat it 🙂
Gosh that sounds perfect Chris! I love gammon for Christmas day too and I never understand the people who want to go out for their dinner to the pub as they never get to eat those left overs! 😉
traditionalist – turkey and all the trimmings
Why not! Nice to keep things as they’re meant to be. I’m not actually a turkey fan myself though, like the look of it but just not the taste! 🙂
cakes. and more cakes. because i feel i’m allowed to!
Turkey with all the trimmings
Christmas dinner! I love making it special and everyone enjoys it.
I love to eat stollen – it’s a classic. I love to bake it as well and then eat!
Home made stollen sounds amazing! 🙂
does a snowball count as eating?? it has egg in it after all…..
I love mince pies I don’t know why but they just scream out Christmas to me
Everything naughty that I don’t have all year – e.g. chocolates, Christmas cake and pudding and nuts (@PeanutHog)
I love Mince Pies
I love turkey sandwiches on boxing day, with cranberry sauce and stuffing.
Because we all have a diabolically sweet tooth, it is the Christmas cake that disappears first!
everything i can get my hands on! i do love tunis cake
Trifle because my grandmother used to make it each year
I love Christmas Cake with baileys
Swollen, perfect for my sweet tooth
I love our cheese board.
20 – 30 cheeses (mostly new untried), biscuits, red wine, port and the family ” cheese club”
I love my mum’s mince pies! straight of the oven, even better! They always remind me of good Christmas’s past and they taste fab too!
